In the latest installment of the FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS series, players are transported to a previously untold battle within the FFBE universe. This time, characters from past FINAL FANTASY games make an appearance, adding to the excitement.
The game kicks off with the War of the Visions, featuring twin princes and a formidable steel maiden. Players will explore the continent of Ardra and delve into the stories of various kingdoms and their warriors through Story Quests, World Quests, and Event Quests, among others.
The gameplay itself is a treat for tactical battle enthusiasts. With 3D terrains and varying elevations, players must develop unique strategies for each battle to achieve victory. Beginner-friendly features such as auto-battle and increased speed settings are available for those who prefer a smoother experience.
As in previous FINAL FANTASY games, the use of Limit Bursts - special moves with impressive displays and powerful attacks - can tip the scales in favor of victory. Players will also encounter beloved Espers from the franchise in captivating CG animations.
The Job System is another noteworthy feature. By raising units and unlocking new jobs, players can level up their characters and utilize different elements against their enemies for added damage. This adds an extra layer of strategy that can turn the tide in battle.
In addition to engaging with the main storyline in Story Quests, players can take on over 200 unique quests within World Quests and Event Quests, providing opportunities to acquire valuable materials.
For an immersive experience, Story Quests are fully voiced in both Japanese and English. Players can choose their preferred language to fully enjoy the rich narrative of War of the Visions.
The game's music, composed by Elements Garden's Noriyasu Agematsu, adds another dimension to the world of War of the Visions. Featuring a full orchestra, the game's soundtrack captures the grandeur and atmosphere of the FFBE franchise.
The story revolves around the kingdom of Leonis, a small but resilient nation surrounded by powerful rivals. With visions - manifestations of legendary warriors' hopes and dreams - at their disposal, Leonis has managed to hold its ground against other kingdoms. However, even the strongest bonds of love and friendship are tested in the face of fate's cruelty.
The tale of War of the Visions begins as a feud between the twin princes of Leonis, Mont and Sterne, ignites a spark that threatens to engulf all kingdoms in the long-standing War of the Visions. In a war-torn land where nations vie for supremacy, who will emerge victorious under the radiant glow of the Crystal?
Familiar Espers from the FINAL FANTASY series, including Ifrit and Ramuh, make appearances in WAR OF THE VISIONS FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS. In addition, popular characters Ayaka and Aileen from FFBE are joined by Global-original characters in this epic tale.
